Anti-Sweat Treatment

Sweat glands are distributed in high amounts on the palms of our hands, the sole of our feet, forehead, cheeks and armpits.

People who suffer from excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) tend to produce more sweat in these areas which can feel uncomfortable.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?

The patient goes through a thorough consultation with the practitioner focusing on their concerns, medical history and contra indications. Information will be given on the product used and its short and long term effects, potential risks and side effects. The patient will be given time to consider whether to go ahead and ask questions.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED? / HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

This treatment will reach its full effect 2 weeks after the procedure and will last for approximately 3 months. After that time frame the sweat glands will become active again and re-treatment is required.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT COST?

After a thorough consultation with the practitioner a personalised quote will be given.

PRE AND POST CARE INFORMATION

This treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding patients. Before the appointment it is best avoiding if possible blood thinning medications such as aspirin, non-steroidal anti inflammatory medications, any vaccines 2 weeks prior and after treatment.

Avoid rubbing or massaging the injected area for the initial 24 hours following your appointment. Additionally, refrain from applying direct pressure to the area, exposing the area to extreme temperature changes, engaging in strenuous exercise, prolonged sunlight exposure, or excessive alcohol consumption during the first 24 hours after treatment.
